Island Village is pleased to welcome illustrious storyteller Amina Blackwood Meeks, as a part of our Jamaica 60 Celebrations. The first of six events will commence on Father's Day and this will feature Amina Blackwood Meeks and one or two other participants in a 45 minute interactive presentation of stories and games designed for a family audience.

PROGRAMMEThe programme will be structured in three segments as follows:

- Run up an dung (a sharing of traditional games from Jamaica with opportunities for cross-cultural exchanges from any non-Jamaican attendees)

- Jamaica to d worl (a sharing of Jamaican stories which celebrate our rich culture and highlight our global profile in all areas of endeavours)

- Waak guud (closing folk song)
