After the success of the 2022 carnival season, Saint Lucia Carnival 2023 is expected to be even bigger and better as the event returns to it’s pre-pandemic full schedule of activities. Events will run from July 1st to 19th and feature a variety of popular traditional events, fetes, boat rides and more.
These will include the National Carnival Queen Pageant on July 1st, the return of Junior Carnival on July 2nd, Inter-Commercial Calypso Competition on July 6th, National Soca Monarch on July 7th, National Calypso Monarch on July 8th, Panorama (Steel Pan Competition) on July 9th, King and Queen of the Bands on July 10th, National J’Ouvert on July 17th. Carnival culminates in an exciting, fun-filled two-day street parade of live bands, DJ music, stunning carnival costumes and the joyous and energetic revelry on July 17th and 18th.
These activities plus a full slate of fetes and boat rides make Saint Lucia’s carnival the one not to miss. It is a very special celebration of Caribbean culture and creativity. St Lucia Carnival is recognised as one of the top Carnivals in the Caribbean and becomes a more vibrant and creative event each year.
